For those of you, you have pushed that bulky, old-fashioned floor washing machine in the warehouse more times than you can count. The water stains appeared to be in a state of becoming wet after drying, but as for the oil stains, they were still not wiped clean after all.
Anhui Tanjie International Trade Co., Ltd. is the name you are more familiar with – Anhui Tanjie Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. In short, the stamp stamped on the export list is the former. This year it produced a batch of goods, the model of the goods is "TJ-8600", which is a large industrial floor scrubber. It is not a concept product conceived in a laboratory, but is directly shoveled onto the container iron plate by a forklift from the Chuzhou factory workshop.
The data does not lie. The third quarter export report shows that the customs clearance volume of TJ-8600 increased by 42% month-on-month. The growth point is not the brightly lit airport halls but the oil packaging plants in the Middle East and the palm oil pressing workshops in Southeast Asia. If you ask why these places are, it is because the floors in these places are not cement floors but the kind of epoxy floors that have been pickled by heavy oil and rust for ten years, the so-called "asphalt floors."
There is a video shot by their engineers in Abu Dhabi. In the video, there is a prototype machine that has been working continuously for 18 hours. The pressure of the brush plate is 120 kilograms, which is twice the industry standard. Why is this? The reason is that the solidified palm oil blocks have to be used to "scrape" with a steel brush instead of "wiping". There is a very interesting sentence written in the report, which is, "Local workers call the floor scrubber the 'iron camel' because it can carry the sewage tank and climb over the speed bump."
You see, while you are still struggling with the issue of "whether the squeegee strip is made of rubber", Tanjie's workers have already begun to adjust the brush plate speed ratio. It moves the water suction motor from that inconspicuous corner to the position directly above the water tank. What's the reason? According to their technical director, hot air will rise upward, while cold air will settle downward. The motor generates heat when it is running, which can take away the water vapor on the moisture filter. This is not a matter of esoteric fluid mechanics, but in fact, it is just lazy behavior – the purpose is to minimize the number of times workers have to stop the machine to dump the sewage.
But what is extremely ironic is the "delayed water discharge" function they have. The instructions for all floor scrubbers tell you that water will spray out immediately after pressing the switch. But Tangjie is not like that. They intentionally set a delay of 3 seconds. What is its purpose? It is to make the brush plate rotate first, thereby forming a cyclone, throwing large particles of debris aside first, and then spraying water. In this way, the solid waste in the sewage tank was reduced by 70%. Haven't you been complaining about having to clean the sewage tank every day? And with this extended 3 seconds, they save you up to half an hour before getting off work every day.
Tucked into the last pages of this export report is a handwritten failure record. The writing was very sloppy, as if the workshop director had casually recorded it on greasy paper: "The motor of No. 23 machine was burned out. After inspection, it was found that during the operator's continuous reversing operation, sewage overflowed and then flowed back into the motor cavity." You see, the problem has never been that the motor quality is defective, but that no one informed the operator that he must lift the squeegee before reversing the car.
How did Tanjie solve it? First of all, they did something to the control panel, which is to add a red LED light on it. Then, when the water level in the sewage tank reaches 80%, the corresponding light will start to flash. If the water level further reaches 90%, the reverse function will be automatically locked. What is involved here is not related to the field of artificial intelligence. In fact, it is simply a thing called a float switch. In terms of cost, the surcharge was only 6 yuan. However, it was precisely this 6 yuan that reduced the return rate on a batch of machines exported to the port of Rotterdam to 0.3%.
So, the next time you search for " Large industrial floor scrubber " on Google, don't just look at the "water tank capacity" and "battery life" in the parameter tables. Go and ask them: Can your brush plate scrape off the palm oil that has solidified for three days? Will your sewage tank not deliver dirty water to the motor when reversing? Is your red LED light welded and fixed when it leaves the factory, or can it be replaced?
A large industrial floor scrubber , after all, is not a machine for sweeping and mopping the floor. It is a mobile water pump on the floor of your factory, a large industrial floor scrubber , and the knee of the worker who bends for you five hundred times a day. The report from Anhui Tanjie did not teach you how to choose a motor, but only taught you one thing: the real industrial grade is not about how clean it can be washed, but how dirty it can be, and how it can be washed continuously without deterioration.
